This particular unit has a custom gain-control modification performed by Rupert Neve Designs. The modification provides more precise gain adjustment, making accurate level matching much easier when comparing compressed and bypassed signals or dialing in exact output levels.

The 5254 is a dual-channel diode bridge compressor based on Rupert Neve’s classic designs, with two fully featured compressor channels that can be used independently or linked for stereo operation. It’s an outstanding mix-bus, drum-bus, bass, and tracking compressor with the punch and character associated with Neve diode-bridge compression.

Used exclusively in my home studio and very well cared for. Everything functions exactly as it should.
