This Gibson Custom Limited Edition 1959 ES-345 Reissue recreates one of the rarer configurations from the model’s earliest years, pairing an Ebony finish with a factory-style Bigsby vibrato and gold hardware. The semi-hollow maple/poplar/maple body is built around a solid maple centerblock, while the mahogany neck features an Authentic 1959 profile, long tenon construction, and a bound rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays.A pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers handles the electronics, along with a 3-way toggle, dual volume and tone controls, and a mono Varitone circuit for a wider range of tones. Murphy Lab Heavy Aging gives the nitro finish and hardware a convincingly worn-in appearance, while the ABR-1 bridge, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and Bigsby tailpiece complete the vintage-inspired setup.
