Bogner Ecstasy Red Distortion/Overdrive Pedal

The Bogner Ecstasy Red is a premium high-gain overdrive/distortion pedal designed to capture the aggressive, harmonically rich character of the legendary Bogner Ecstasy amplifier’s Red channel in a compact pedal format.

Designed by Reinhold Bogner, the Ecstasy Red delivers thick, powerful gain with excellent note definition, dynamics, and an amp-like response. It can cover everything from muscular classic rock and hard rock tones to saturated modern high-gain sounds, while remaining articulate enough for complex chords and detailed lead work.

The pedal offers an impressive amount of control, with Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass controls along with additional switches for Variac, Mode, Pre-EQ, and Structure. These options allow you to fine-tune the feel, response, gain structure, and overall character of the pedal to work with a wide variety of guitars and amplifiers.

It also features a dedicated Boost footswitch with independent Boost Volume and Gain controls, making it easy to add extra saturation and level for solos without needing another pedal.
