The EP103 puts the sound of the classic Echoplex EP-3 tape echo into a pedal the size of an MXR Phase 90, with no tape cartridges to maintain. The delay signal gets the same tonal treatment as Dunlop's EP101 Echoplex Preamp, while your dry signal goes through untouched. **Controls and features** - **Delay**: 65 ms to 750 ms of delay time - **Sustain**: number of repeats - **Volume**: level of the repeats - **Age mode**: push the Volume knob and it becomes an "age" control. The repeats go from bright and clean (like a fresh, calibrated tape machine) to darker and more saturated, with more wow, flutter, and tape distress as you turn it up. - **Tap tempo** up to 4 seconds of delay with an optional MXR M199 Tap Tempo Switch - All-analog dry path with Constant Headroom Technology (20 V of headroom) - Choice of true relay bypass or trails bypass - 100% wet mode and stereo input/output modes - 9V power **Sound and uses:** Warm, slightly modulated tape-style echo for slapback, ambient swells, and dub-style repeats. Use Age mode when you want the repeats to sound worn and vintage. **Condition:** New. **Included:** The Echoplex Delay pictured.
