For sale is a beautiful Fender Vibrolux from 1959 – a wonderful old Tweed amp that not only has a great deal of visual charm, but above all delivers exactly the kind of sound you would hope for from an amplifier like this: open, lively, dynamic and wonderfully direct.
The Vibrolux is in exceptionally well-kept condition overall. It also comes with an original vintage Fender protective cover.
Technically, the amp also makes a very good impression. For an amplifier of this age, it is remarkably quiet, with very little background noise. The tremolo is rather soft and subtle than pronounced or intrusive – something I personally find very pleasant and musical.
The amplifier is designed for 110 volts and is therefore operated with a suitable step-down transformer.
The power cord was replaced with a newer one at some point. As for the Tweed covering, I am not 100% certain whether it is still the original covering or whether it may have been professionally redone at some point.
Likewise, with an amplifier of this age, I naturally cannot guarantee the originality of every single component. The photos show the interior and the relevant components in detail, allowing interested buyers to form their own opinion regarding originality and condition.
