YAMAHA 1971 FG-350, from an early-1970s era highly regarded in the history of Japanese acoustic guitars.
Fully dried wood after more than 50 years produces a huge volume and dry, percussive tone unattainable by current models. Side/back use the rare coral rosewood tonewood, combining mahogany's lively openness with rosewood's deep richness, providing strong support from solo strumming to full ensembles.
Playable, road-ready vintage condition, with the solid, thick-sounding neck grip typical of period YAMAHA guitars fully expressed with no playability issues.
[SPEC]
TOP: Spruce
SIDE/BACK: Coral Rosewood
FINGERBOARD/BRIDGE: Rosewood
NECK: Flame Maple/Rosewood/Flame Maple 3-piece
NUT WIDTH: 43.5mm
SCALE: 646mm
CASE: Non-original Hard Shell Case
[Repairs / Replaced Parts / Cosmetic Condition]
Pickguard replaced; tuning pegs replaced (holes from the original pegs were not filled); the hard case's rear latch does not close, though the other latches work fine, so it's fine for transport and storage; marks at the neck heel cap from a previously mounted strap pin.
[Playing Condition]
Action at the 12th fret: 3.5mm low E side, 3.2mm high E side. Saddle protrusion approximately 1.0-2.0mm. No choking or buzzing; playing condition is good.
[As-is sale]
Sold as-is: no warranty, no returns.
