Gemeinhardt 4SP Silver Plated Concert Piccolo.

Gemeinhardt is one of the top American flute manufacturers and one of the most popular brands recommended by teachers. The 4SP features a silver plated head and body with great ergonomic design for comfort and playability.

The piccolo has been fully disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, adjusted and tested. It is 100% ready to play!

The piccolo plays perfectly from top to bottom. Great, full clear low register, clear dark middle register and sweet, dark round high register. Amazing pitch and scale. The conical Gemeinhardt design gives a great round concert sound that’s easy to blend or project. It works for concert band and orchestral settings, but can be taken outdoors and offers strong projection.

The piccolo shows some light cosmetic wear from normal use - small surface scratches and some very small knicks. Cosmetically the piccolo is an 9/10. The piccolo comes in the original Gemeinhardt hardshell plastic case. The case exterior shows some wear and discoloration (shown in photos). The interior shows normal wear from use, but is clean and odor free. The case is functional and protects the instrument well - cosmetically 7/10.

This piccolo is a perfect instrument for a serious student wanting a versatile piccolo for concert band or outdoor playing, or a pro wanting a picc that’s safe for any setting. Very durable, reliable horn for doublers and put players without the worry of wood cracking. This piccolo retailed new for $1,519.00. Save some money on an awesome little piccolo! :)
