The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop '60 Telecaster Custom NOS they hark right back to the early days of Leo Fenders vision.A traditional Alder body is finished in a classy Vintage White NOS which is double bound beautifully with tortoishell - matched with tortoiseshell pickguard. As this guitar has an NOS finish, it was not built with any kind of ageing or wear - itâs designed to look exactly how a genuine vintage Fender would have looked when it left the factory. This one is pre-owned, however, and though it has been kept in fantastic condition overall, it does show some very minor signs of use. There are no major scratches or dings that break the finish though.The plain grain Maple neck has a smooth, authentic, vintage feel. With a 9.50" radius, 60 Style Oval C neck profile, AAA Rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets, it's a real joy to play.With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '60 Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang.
