Yamaha YTS-23 Tenor Saxophone (Japan) – Serial # 036295 A . This model features the adjustable thumb rest preferred by players over the earlier metal variation. Based on the serial #, it was built around 1990.

• Condition Details: Has the typical scratching and minor dings, as seen in the images, for a vintage sax.
• Play Testing: Regulated and adjusted, leak tested. Several pads and corks were replaced as needed. It plays smoothly down to the bottom of the horn, with the low B and Bb notes projecting clearly and strongly and in the Upper register.
• Cosmetics: This is an authentic, honest workhorse instrument. It shows typical surface scratching and a small dent near the thumb rest. None of these cosmetic marks affect its excellent structural integrity, alignment, or play ability.
• Includes: Protective Yamaha hard case. Neck strap, Yamaha 4C mouth piece, cork grease, two reeds, ligature, Mouth piece cover protector and receiver plug cap.
