The band Periphery has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the progressive metal scene, and one of the key players in achieving their full, lethal sound is guitarist Mark Holcomb. He accomplishes this with his PRS guitars and signature Seymour Duncan Scarlet and Scourge pickups. Working closely with PRS, Holcomb has helped create a truly unique guitar for the SE Series lineup.

What sets the SE Mark Holcomb model apart from other guitars in the PRS lineup is its addictive playability, thanks to its unique specifications. The guitar features a 24-fret, 25.5" scale length wide thin satin maple neck with a 20" radius ebony fretboard. This combination of features makes the guitar incredibly comfortable to play, and it delivers the right amount of output and articulation whether youâre playing sophisticated chords or solos and whether youâre playing alone or working in the mix of a band. The Holcomb signature pickups are a key component of the guitarâs sound, providing the perfect amount of output to deliver aggression with clarity and articulation.

The SE Mark Holcomb guitar features a quilted maple veneer and black chrome hardware, giving it a sleek and modern look. The guitar also features a 3-way blade pickup switch with push/pull tone knob for coil splitting, which allows you to achieve a wide range of tones. The PRS-designed tuners are lightweight and provide precise tuning without dampening your tone.
