Akai MPC2000 MIDI Production Center w/ 8 output expansion & 32 MB Ram 1997

Overview

The Akai MPC 2000 Classic is a legendary music production workstation that combines sampling and MIDI sequencing in one iconic unit. This vintage unit is fully playable and includes the 8-output expansion board (IB-208P), providing eight individual outputs for routing drums separately into a DAW for mixing. The storage is fully maxed out at 32MB of RAM. The unit works great and has been well preserved aside from a couple of minor cosmetic issues.

Condition

Good

This unit is in good overall cosmetic condition for its age. The main body is very clean, and the pads feel good and respond properly. There are two minor cosmetic flaws: the plastic cap on the main dial is missing, although the metal post underneath is intact and turns perfectly fine. The screen housing is also slightly loose on its mount and may simply need a quick tightening. Neither issue affects normal operation.

The LCD screen is in fair condition, with some dead lines visible. There is no fading, and the display remains completely readable.
