Darkglass Electronics is a Finnish brand of bass effects pedals and amplifiers.
It has gained global popularity in recent years and is trusted by many leading professional bassists.
This model is the brand's flagship overdrive/preamp pedal.
In addition to a deep, intense distortion sound, it features a flexible equalizer.
Low Mid and High Mid each offer three selectable settings.
Together with the Grunt switch, which alters the nuance of the low frequencies, and the Attack switch, which changes the strength of the high frequencies, it enables a wide range of sound shaping.
The unique, slightly cool texture of the drive sound is a perfect match for modern band ensembles that heavily utilize sequencing.
It is an all-around piece of equipment equipped with cabinet simulation, a headphone output, and more.
