This is the listing for a GSSL compressor made with a quad-VCA (see pictures), where instead of ONE VCA chip, there are FOUR of them in parallel. Paralleling VCAs reduces the noise floor by roughly 3dB for each doubling of devices, achieving up to a 6dB reduction in noise when moving to a 4-VCA configuration. The parallel VCA approach yields a cleaner, more modern, and transparent sound with less "grain" or distortion when pushed hard, which you will hear in the demo video. There are many aspects to demo about this beautiful compressor, but this short video cannnot cover everything- just core functions.

Controls are:

• THRESHOLD
• RATIO
• ATTACK
• RELEASE
• MAKE-UP
• SIDE-CHAIN (includes EXT, OFF HPF (60, 90, 130, 200Hz) along with TM and TL settings)
• COMPRESSOR button (IN/OUT)
• POWER button (toggle between two completely different sidechain compression behaviors: "Aarhus" (Standard GSSL) mode and "Oxford" (Turbo/True SSL) mode, which is a true power of this build).

Mains switch and EXT sidechain input are at the back of the unit (see pictures).

Check the demo on YouTube @HappinessMastering. Also, I have processed and unprocessed audio tracks to compare A/B, just DM me.

You are not invited to try it at my home by default because I have no time to entertain you.

There is a video recording for demo purposes. I am also very happy to answer questions.
