• Comes with soft plastic mic clip

For sale is a very clean RE11, and it sounds perfect, sounding exactly as it should! This mic is essentially mint, but it seems to have sustained a break in the plastic, with the rest of the wear being extremely light in only a few key spots. Sonically, this microphone sounds excellent, with a nice bass response that is well controlled due to Electro-Voice's Variable-D technology. As a result, the sound you get from this microphone is reliable and consistent in terms of tonality, a perfect tool in any studio!

Internally, the microphone is like new, as the original foam was removed and replaced with acoustically transparent audio grade foam. I've spent quite a bit trying to perfect how I replace the foam in these and everything is close to the original, so the sound remains as intended. You'll also be pleased to know, the grille was cleaned prior to foam installation, and you will not experience any crumbling foam or odd smells that come with many vintage mics.

Compared to the Electro-Voice RE10 and RE15, I vastly prefer the RE11 due to the larger grille. It allows for a thicker piece of foam that results in less plosives and breath noises. So matter how quickly or little thought is put into positioning, the audio is a lot more consistent. Look no further if you want an RE11 that is essentially new and sounds like it did out of the factory!
