(Edited from Chat GPT)
That is the 1995 Gibson J-200 Koa Limited Edition, a particularly scarce Bozeman-era Gibson. Contemporary and later documentation describes the run as 250 instruments.
Day 171 of 1995 was June 20, 1995.
This particular J-200 was stamped June 20, 1995, in Bozeman, Montana, and was the 28th guitar stamped that day.
The wood is the really interesting part. This is not an all-koa J-200.
Top: solid spruce
Back and sides: figured Hawaiian koa

The ebony fingerboard and bridge are particularly nice appointments. They aren't simply cosmetic: ebony gives the bridge and fingerboard a different feel and contributes to the crisp attack associated with this type of Gibson.
The neck is a very comfortable, full C-shape.
The 250-guitar limitation is important
This isn't just a regular 1995 J-200 with koa substituted into the construction.
It was a specific limited edition of 250 guitars.
The J-200 itself
The J-200 is Gibson's enormous Super Jumbo, originally introduced in 1937 as the Super Jumbo 200. Gibson changed the name to J-200 in 1955. The characteristic moustache bridge, large body and ornate pickguard became hallmarks of the model.
The Bozeman J-200s of this period are particularly interesting because Gibson was doing a lot of special-edition and limited-run experimentation.
The early-to-mid-1990s were an important period for the Bozeman acoustic operation, and you see some remarkably ambitious instruments coming out of the shop.
This Koa is one of them.
The koa back is beautiful, with good cross-grain figure throughout.
The top appears to be in quite nice condition. There are no obvious top cracks, major bridge lifting or serious structural problems in these photographs.
The gold hardware has some aging, which is completely normal for a 31-year-old Gibson.
Installed is an LR Baggs Anthem pickup. The original Gibson hard shell case has a cape to further protect and instill even more awe and anticipation.
