The Collings SoCo deluxe is the top-of-the-line take on a Gibson 335. If I had one electric guitar for the rest of my life, it would probably be a 335 with P90s, and this might be the nicest production semi-hollow guitar made today. (If you know a nicer one, let us know and I’ll get it for the shop!)
The wood, design, finish, joints, little curves in the body all scream top-of-the-line wood working. I took a pic of the fretboard without the lower stings just so you can see how nice the fretboard wood it. Even the case might be the nicest one we’ve seen. If a Gibson is a Swiss watch, this is a Rolex.
This one is completely mint. It’s a shame. Even the frets have no wear. This deserves to be played! Or collected… or whatever. Once you buy it, you do you.
