The Clavinet D6 is the sound of Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition', Led Zeppelin's 'Trampled Under Foot', and countless funk, soul, and rock classics.
Complete with original metal legs, leg bag, and original grey tolex removable lid. A new spare set of strings, tuning key, and damping wire is included.
Preamp recently upgraded to Jim Williams (Stevie Wonder’s tech-guy) specs for less noise and better tone. All the original electronics parts are included as well.
It has just been serviced with a full set of new key bushings, new hammer tips, leveling of keys, setup/tuning, preamp rebuild, shielding copper tape, and a general inspection/service where needed.
It has been tested and is fully functional and sounds great. The clavinet is in good condition and shows normal signs of age and use for a vintage instrument of this era. One tab of the latch is missing (see detail photo).
