1962-63 Gibson GA-5 Skylark Tube Combo Amp | Original Quam Speaker | Kalamazoo, MI

Vintage Gibson GA-5 Skylark tube amplifier from the early Crestline era, likely built in late 1962 or early 1963. This is one of Gibson's most sought-after small tube amps and a fantastic recording, practice, and studio amplifier with classic American tube tone.

The amp retains its original Gibson Skylark cosmetics, Gibson badge, tube chassis, and original Quam-Nichols speaker. The speaker carries EIA code 1056-247, dating it to the 47th week of 1962.

This is the simple and desirable single-volume-control GA-5 design that helped make the Skylark a cult favorite among vintage amp enthusiasts. It delivers warm cleans at lower volume and rich, natural tube overdrive when pushed.
