This is a perfectly working Nekotronics SSL 4000 style bus compressor. These are custom made hand wired compressors made in England using parts sourced from the same companies that SSL sources their parts. This particular one has all the upgrades including the turbo upgrade and the Carnhill transformers.
It is as good as any real SSL bus compressor I've ever used, only a lot more affodable. It has stayed in the rack in my smoke free studio for its entire life. I'm only selling to raise money for guitar gear and I just don't use it that much as I mix in the box exclusively these days.
Asking $900 but will entertain reasonable offers.
