When I purchased this R16, I did three songs' worth of preliminary home recording on it, and was happy with its good clean sound and instantaneous results. It's easy to use, navigating punch-in/out points is easy and becomes easier with repetition, and the built-in mics are surprisingly good. I just don't use it - it lives in its box on a shelf. I'll include the 32 GB SD card I purchased for it and wipe its contents before it ships.
