For sale is a 2012 Fano Alt de Facto JM6 in an ultra rare "Sonic Mary" finish over an Ash body - a factory heavy relic job that looks the part of a well-loved vintage original. The Alt de Facto series is Fano's top-of-the-line, handbuilt custom tier, and Sonic Mary is about as rare a finish as you'll find on one of these - this isn't a color you see come up often. This is an earlier Fano model of the PBG era prior to the company moving to Arizona.

Weighing in at 7lbs 9oz, this JM6 has an early "C" shaped neck profile with a 7.25"–9.5" compound radius - really comfortable in the hand, with that broken-in vintage feel throughout. Loaded with a set of Lollar P-90s, all original hardware with the exception of strap buttons.

It's in great condition overall - no real issues to speak of beyond the factory relic work, which is well done and gives it a ton of natural-looking character. One minor thing to note - the neck pickup was routed a bit to widen it to accommodate a humbucker at some point in its life (see last pic). totally unnoticeable under the pickguard and very little wood was removed, but something to be aware of. The pickups were since changed back to the stock Lollars.

Comes with non-original G&G hard case. The guitar will be very well packed and quickly shipped via UPS with tracking and insurance included. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions!

*** Please note, I am not a professional luthier and set my guitars up to my personal preferences. Wood is relatively sensitive, and differences in temperature, humidity or during shipping can result in changes to how the guitar plays. A professional setup is always recommended when buying a guitar. ***
