Reducing the footprint of my studio and selling some gear. This is the Lucas CS-1.
Terry Manning asked Oliver Archut to fix a C12 VR he did not love. What came out of that is the Lucas CS-1. They made a short run, under three hundred. The capsule is in the CK12 family. The circuit is plate-loaded, with a TAB-Funkenwerk transformer, not an AKG T14. Military Mullard tube.
This one is turquoise satin, early supply serial 0002, with the wood case and the cable. Smoke-free studio. It works. A rare mic, and it sounds like one.
