Reducing the footprint of my studio and selling some gear. This is the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor.
Each channel is two compressors in a row, then three transformers. The optical section is fixed ratio, with a program-dependent release: most of the gain comes back quickly, and a little of it lingers. The discrete section behind it has threshold, attack, recover, and ratios from 1.2:1 through Flood. After that you pick nickel, iron, or steel.
This is a standard unit with the external wood dual-rail supply. Positive, negative, and power. Not a Class A version. Bought in 2021. Smoke-free studio. Everything works. Famous for a reason.
