Developed with Dream Theater bassist John Myung, the Ashdown Double Drive combines two distinct bass distortion circuits, dual VU meters, and a balanced DI output in one substantial metal enclosure.
Drive 1 delivers harmonic overdrive with Gain, Loud, and Tone controls. Drive 2 adds vintage inspired fuzz with Grit and Burn controls. Use either drive independently or stack both for heavier distortion, added sustain, and aggressive bass textures.
