Replaced by the American Originals, the AVRIs were Fender's entry-level model, just below the Custom Shop pickups in their day. Welcome to the 70s here: large CBS headstock, natural finish, U-shaped neck, grey bottom pickups, and more. The body is ash, the neck is maple with a 7.25-inch radius maple fingerboard, and the whole thing weighs only 3.51 kg. The original pickups have been replaced with 1978 originals! The pickguard and back plates, potentiometers, and bridge have also been changed. Sold with its paperwork in its original case.
