This Biamp 83RX 8x2.1 comes from the personal collection of a former Biamp Systems employee who worked at the company's Beaverton/Hillsboro, Oregon facility — as close to a factory-direct piece of Biamp history as you'll find on the used market.
The 83RX is an 8-channel rack mixer with a built-in spring reverb effects section. Each channel offers trim, effects send, monitor send, 3-band EQ (high/mid/low), pan, and level control. Effects send/return with dedicated reverb level, Sub 1/Sub 2 bus routing, independent main and monitor outputs with their own level controls, and stereo LED metering round out the feature set. Rear panel has combo XLR/¼" inputs on channels 1–4 and ¼" inputs on 5–8.
