This Telecaster is in excellent cosmetic condition and was offered new distressed by the manufacturer. This Telecaster features a very nice feeling, chunky U shaped neck that is very reminiscent of the profile used on the Fender 52 Reissue Telecasters. The neck has only a very light nitrocellulose lacquer finish that has been distressed and feels absolutely fantastic like an old glove. The frets are of the vintage tall variety and show no signs of play wear. This guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The Fender Pure Vintage 1951 Telecaster pickups sound exceptionally good and deliver some serious bite and twang without being harsh. These pickups are excellent for anything from clean country spank to very nice, sparkly overdriven rock tones. This instrument is very lightweight, resonant and loud unplugged. This guitar, in my opinion, offers a tremendous amount of value for your hard earned dollar with build quality, sound, playability and specs that any guitar picker can appreciate. If you are after a seriously great Telecaster, I don’t think you can go wrong with this Vintera Road Worn model. This gem of a guitar will ship safely and promptly from our little shop to your front door.
