Schecter PT Classic Electric Guitar in Transparent Black Burst

The PT Classic delivers a responsive, balanced playing experience across its neck, rewarding both fast single-note runs and smooth chord work. Built in the USA Custom Shop, this refined instrument combines meticulous craftsmanship with versatile electronics and a striking visual presence, designed for serious players who demand both performance and aesthetics.

Playability & Build Quality

The chambered mahogany body with quilted maple cap keeps the instrument comfortable to play for extended sessions, while the flamed maple neck provides structural integrity and visual character. The 25.5-inch scale, 14-inch fretboard radius, and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets create a platform for articulate playing without fret sprout concerns, and the 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access spoke wheel allows straightforward neck adjustments when needed.

Tone & Electronics

The Schecter USA Pasadena Plus bridge pickup paired with the Pasadena Classic neck pickup delivers clarity and richness across genres—from clean rhythms to aggressive leads. The push-pull tone control with coil-splitting lets you switch from full humbucker warmth to crisp single-coil voicings on the fly, while the 3-way toggle switch provides three distinct pickup configurations for comprehensive sound shaping.
