The Schecter AM-6 is a signature instrument engineered for players who prioritize ergonomic precision and tonal clarity in demanding musical contexts. Its thin "C" neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets deliver immediate comfort across fast technical passages and intricate articulation, while the striking Arctic Jade finish signals a guitar built for both craft and presence in the mix.
Playability & Neck DesignThe wenge neck tapers progressively from 0.787" at the 1st fret to 0.866" at the 12th fret, balancing speed with control without sacrificing grip security. A 12"–16" compound radius fretboard in Macassar ebony paired with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets enables smooth string bending and seamless position shifts across the full 25.5" scale length.
Tone & ElectronicsThe Schecter USA Solstice bridge pickup and Schecter USA Equinox neck pickup deliver articulate clarity and natural warmth, controlled through dedicated volume, tone, and 5-way switching. A Gotoh Vintage 2-Point Tremolo maintains intonation stability, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.643" width) ensures bright harmonic clarity and reliable tuning retention.
