Stratocaster Aztec Gold Relic Body One Piece Mahogany

This is a VL Guitars guitar body, crafted from 1-piece Mahogany, chosen for its density, sustain, and warm tonal character.
The body is cut to true vintage Stratocaster specifications, with correct contours, thicknesses, and routing to ensure authentic resonance and feel.
All of our bodies are precision-machined to tight tolerances, ensuring that all genuine Fender® parts fit perfectly, including necks, bridges, pickguards, and hardware—no modifications required. This makes our bodies ideal for high-end custom builds as well as vintage-correct restorations.
The finish is applied entirely in 100% nitrocellulose lacquer, sprayed in thin coats and then hand-aged (relic) to accurately recreate the look, feel, and character of a well-played vintage instrument.
The Aztec Gold finish features a rich metallic gold tone, with heavy natural-looking checking, honest edge wear, and realistic chipping down to the wood grain—true to a guitar that's lived a life on stage.
Being built from a single piece of Mahogany, this body offers exceptional sustain and a warmer, fuller tonal foundation than a traditional Ash or Alder body—a great option for players chasing a thicker, more vintage-rock voice out of a Strat-shaped instrument.
