Farfisa Syntorchestra – Classic 1970s Italian Analog Keyboard

Classic Italian analog keyboard from the 1970s, combining Farfisa-style organ sounds, an analog-sounding piano section, and a monophonic synthesizer.

It has a warm, singing and sometimes wonderfully raw character that is very much its own. A sound that Behringer hasn't cloned yet!

The Syntorchestra is particularly associated with the 1970s krautrock scene, where instruments like this were used for their unusual and distinctive combination of organ, keyboard and synthesizer sounds.

A modification has been added to the instrument allowing the polyphonic section to select between an organ-type or piano-type envelope with a switch.

Condition:

The instrument is working and in tune. However, the sustain slider has one issue: at the absolute minimum position the sustain is at maximum, while moving it slightly above minimum brings the sustain back to minimum, with the rest of the slider range working normally.

This is the wooden model, which has been painted black at some point in its life and is a bit rough looking.
