For sale is a beautiful and highly collectible Fender '54 Precision Bass Reissue in the iconic "Blue Flower" finish. This instrument was manufactured in Japan at the renowned Dyna Gakki factory between 2002 and 2004 (Q-serial + 6 digits, "Crafted in Japan" crafted at the heel of the neck).
This model perfectly blends the psychedelic 1968 Flower Power vibe with the specifications of the early 1950s Precision Bass (Telecaster-style headstock, slab body, single-coil pickup).
Condition Report:
- Cosmetics: Outstanding condition. The finish is crisp and clear, with NO yellowing or fading. The blue hues are vibrant, unlike many faded/greenish examples from this era ; just 2 pocks ( cf pictures )
- Pickguard: Original transparent pickguard is completely intact and in perfect condition.
- Electronics: The original single-coil pickup has been professionally rewound to factory specs, delivering that authentic, woody, punchy 50s vintage tone.
A rare find for collectors and players alike, especially in this pristine cosmetic shape.
