The Epiphone Futura SG Custom delivers a bold new evolution of a legendary design for players who want classic SG attitude fused with modern versatility and eye-catching style,. Finished in stunning Midnight Ember Shift, the Chromashift color-shifting gloss finish transforms under changing light, shifting tones and reflections as you move across the stage or in front of the camera. It’s an unmistakably modern take on one of the most iconic solidbody guitars ever made.

Built for today’s demanding musicians, the Futura SG Custom combines sleek aesthetics with high-performance playability. The mahogany body retains the lightweight comfort and aggressive double-cutaway feel that made the SG famous, while the set mahogany neck features a fast and comfortable Modern C profile designed for effortless movement across the fretboard. Its bound ebony fingerboard pairs stainless steel medium jumbo frets with a compound 10”-14” radius, giving players smooth chording in lower positions and easy bends higher up the neck. Whether you’re recording, gigging, or creating content online, this guitar is built to feel quick, responsive, and inspiring in every setting.

The Futura SG Custom offers far more than traditional SG punch. A pair of Epiphone ProBucker Ignite humbuckers deliver powerful output with impressive clarity, while push/pull controls unlock coil-splitting and phase-switching options for expanded tonal flexibility. From thick modern rock tones to crisp single-coil-inspired textures, this instrument adapts easily to nearly any genre or playing style. Combined with premium hardware like locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a LockTone bridge and tailpiece, and included premium gig bag, the Futura SG Custom stands out as a forward-thinking instrument built for modern musicians who refuse to blend in. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
