Up for grabs at the Japanese Guitar Company is a highly rare 1994 40th Anniversary reissue Stratocaster in an exclusive factory Copper Metallic finish with a matching painted headstock. Built during a celebrated golden era of production, this specific anniversary configuration features an incredibly striking aesthetic package that stands out on any showroom floor.
The structural blueprint is modeled around a highly comfortable alder body paired with a beautiful rosewood fingerboard over a maple neck. It features a historic 1962 reissue slim profile neck shape, an aged white three-ply pickguard, and vintage-style single-coil pickups that deliver an immaculate, woody mid-range chime with signature single-coil bite. The neck is adorned with an exotic factory Foto Flame wrap treatment, giving it an intensely figured premium look under lights.
This guitar exhibits significant cosmetic character from three decades of use. The rear of the maple neck has experienced standard aging common to vintage Foto Flame wraps, including widespread lacquer finish lines and several large chips out of the clear film overlay. The large areas have been professionally stabilized and filled with cyanoacrylate adhesive to secure them. The lines toward the top of the neck and headstock have not been touched as they don't currently seem to pose any issues.  The original model stamp at the heel curve has also been stabilized to ensure the structural identification markings remain secure. The original frets are in great health, comfortably rating an 8.5 out of 10 with zero dynamic buzzing or immediate leveling issues.
