Up for grabs at the Japanese Guitar Company is a spectacular, near-mint 2025 Fender Japan Limited Starmaster in an eye-catching Jupiter Blue finish. Originally launched as an exclusive, limited-production release for the domestic flagship market, this model is a brilliant hybrid design that mashes the offset lines of a Jazzmaster with the iconic, retro-futuristic appointments of the 1970s Starcaster. The design features a semi-hollow alder body with a classic Jazzmaster silhouette, uniquely modified with a stepped, color-matched accent along the forearm contour that mirrors the swooping look of the headstock. It is loaded with factory Hybrid II Custom Voiced single-coil pickups wired to a traditional dual-circuit layout, delivering a beautiful mix of warm acoustic resonance, woody mid-range punch, and classic single-coil bite. The maple neck features a fast modern C shape with a smooth satin back finish, capped with a dark rosewood fingerboard, a 9.5 inch radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. For hardware, it comes equipped with vintage-style tuners and a traditional floating tremolo tailpiece system for incredibly smooth pitch modulation and excellent tuning stability. This instrument is in pristine, showroom condition. The original frets show absolutely no visible wear, the gloss polyester finish retains a flawless mirror shine, and there are no signs of handling or playwear across the body. It has been completely detailed, freshly restrung, and fully set up in our workshop to ensure low, effortless action with immaculate intonation straight out of the bag.
