The Liberation was one of the first synths that you could strap over the shoulder, like a guitar. Being a two-oscillator monophonic analog synth, it is very similar to the Prodigy in voice architecture, but has additional mixer controls for noise, ring modulation, and polyphony. The left-hand grip features volume, filter, and force controls as well as a ribbon controller that can be used for note slides and bends. It's rare to come across a Moog Liberation, let alone a functional one, so when our techs got their hands on it they were excited to restore this piece of history back to its full working condition! Includes Liberation keyboard unit, interface/power supply unit (with new side plates), and connector cable. This one shows what some might call wear, and others might call patina. Like an old Stratocaster, we didn't want to mess with the years of experience that are storied in its finish.
