For sale is a used Denon SC-6000 Prime DJ media player, along with the LC-6000 add-on controller.

The LC-6000 connects to the SC-6000 as a secondary control surface, allowing you to use a single unit for two tracks rather than needing to buy two full SC-6000s (which is exactly what I bought it for, and it works great.) It can also function as a generic USB controller when connected to your computer to control DJ software, etc.

I’m the original owner of both units, and keep a pet- smoke-free home. The units show signs of cosmetic wear, especially due to how to rubberized exterior surfaces are easily scuffed. They were only used in my home studio for practice and Twitch streams, and at a few gatherings with friends. They’ve never been dropped or had any liquid spills. The screens look and work excellently, and I’ve re-tested all buttons, faders, and ports.

The LC-6000 platter has a few small cosmetic dents on it, which are visible in the photos. This does not impact functionality in any way. The SC-6000 platter also has a very common issue that only affects backspins, where accumulated dust causes the platter to come to a stop slightly more abruptly as it spins down, compared to a CDJ. This can be tuned up fairly easily with a lithium lubricant if needed. I don’t have the tools on hand to do so, and personally never felt the need to. It’s otherwise unnoticeable while mixing or scratching, but I felt it was worth mentioning. I’d be happy to take a quick video to demonstrate this if requested, if my description is unclear.

The SC-6000 ships with the original box and manual inserts as shown in the photos, and the LC-6000 will ship in a separate box, well-packed with foam and padding.

I also updated the SC-6000 firmware to the latest version.
