Hate to part with this one but it is time to rotate. It has been my daily player for 2 years now and the only reason it has to go is to make room for a 9090DB. This one isn't just tested... it has been used!
This is extremely clean from a non-smoking household. It was always stored indoors in a climate controlled environment. No garage trophy here!
Inside looks like new... hardly even needed to be dusted. Still, I went through it from top to bottom, cleaned all the pots, scoped it and plugged it in. All the lights work as they should and the controls are silky smooth. Highs, mids and bass all punch as much as you need, this one will rock the block!
The DB means built in Dolby processor that works. Believe it or not the radio stations still broadcast this. It really does make a difference!
It is a heavy beast so plan on a good platform to set it on.

The Sansui 8080DB is an FM/AM stereo receiver with all the same sophisticated circuitry as the 9090DB, but with 85 watts per channel, minimum RMS, 1000Hz both channels driven and dazzling 0.2 % total harmonic distortion (at rated output).
Features include built in Dolby processor: four meters : twin power meters ; signal strength ; tuning, MOS FET FM front-end for higher sensitivity, clear reception under any transmission conditions, improved stereo reception from FM broadcast and a full range of convenient controls and system connections.
