The DigiTech Screamin' Blues is a simple overdrive/distortion pedal with just four controls (level, low, high and gain). It has two outputs, for amp level and mixer level, and is very robustly built.
This example has lost a sliver of paint from the front edge below the footswitch (visible in the photo), but is otherwise excellent.
It can run off a 9-volt battery or a 300mA mains adapter
