The unit powers on and the indicator LEDs illuminate.

However, the Linn 9000 does not complete its normal software boot sequence and the display does not reach the normal operating screen.

The exact cause of the fault has not been diagnosed.

For this reason, the instrument is being sold AS-IS / FOR REPAIR OR RESTORATION, with no guarantee that any function other than power-up is operational.

I have deliberately not attempted an undocumented repair or modification.

ORIGINAL CONDITION

The unit appears to retain its original Linn Electronics configuration, including the original control panel, pads, display and rear-panel connections.

There are visible signs of age and use, including scratches, marks and cosmetic wear to the top panel and around the display area.
