Up for sale is a rare gem from the legendary golden era of Fender Japan: a 1985 Fender Contemporary Deluxe Stratocaster HH (Serial Number: C001721), crafted at the famous FujiGen plant.Featuring a dual humbucker layout with coil-splitting, this model was Fender's top-of-the-line export model from 1985–1987, specifically designed for players who loved the emerging "Superstrat" movement.

Key Features:

• 100% Complete Schaller System III Tremolo: This sophisticated system, manufactured in Germany by Schaller, is mechanically fully intact. It includes the original tremolo arm and the fully functional lever-locking nut—a true rarity after more than 40 years! I have recently cleaned and lubricated the mechanism.
• Rare Finish: The original Emerald Mist Metallic finish is one of the rarest colors of this series and is in beautiful condition.
• Electronics & Sound: Pure HH layout featuring the original mini-toggle for coil-splitting and Fender's famous TBX tone control. It delivers everything from punchy '80s rock tones to classic, wiry Strat twang.

Condition:The guitar is in very good condition for its age. I purchased it around the year 2000 in great used condition to learn electric guitar (alongside acoustic), but never pursued it regularly. As a result, the guitar has barely been played over the last 25 years. The frets show very little wear, and the action is excellent. There are typical hairline cracks in the thick polyester finish near the neck pocket. These are purely cosmetic finish cracks; I have checked them, and the wood underneath is completely undamaged. The guitar is set up with a brand-new set of Fender .010 gauge strings. A gig bag is included.
