For sale is my Analogue Addicts UK Series Six mono valve microphone preamp.
This is a rare, hand-built British valve preamp designed to add warmth, harmonic richness and analogue character to recordings. It works particularly well on vocals, guitars, bass and other sources where you want something more colourful and organic than a completely transparent preamp.
The front panel provides separate input and gain controls, Hi-Z instrument input, 48V phantom power, line input/output and a “Set Zero” control. It can therefore also be used as a characterful front end for instruments or line-level sources, not only microphones.
The unit is fully functional and in very good condition. It has mainly been used in my home studio and has always been rack-mounted and carefully looked after.
A fairly uncommon piece of UK-made analogue equipment and a great option if you are looking for a valve preamp with real character rather than another clean modern preamp.
