The Schecter C-8 MS SLS Elite Evil Twin in Satin Black is a premium 8-string multiscale electric guitar built for modern metal, progressive playing, lower tunings and technically demanding extended-range work.

Its specification combines a swamp ash body, 7-ply maple/walnut/padauk neck-through construction, carbon-fibre reinforcement, ebony fingerboard, 25.5"–27" multiscale layout and 24 X-Jumbo stainless-steel frets.

A pair of Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers provides powerful high-gain tones with excellent low-string definition and multiple voicing options.

This pre-owned example is presented in Very Good Condition and weighs 8.84 lbs.

No case or gigbag is included.

25.5"–27" Multiscale Design

The multiscale layout gives the lower strings a longer scale while keeping the treble strings closer to a traditional 25.5" feel.

This provides:

• Tighter low-string response

• Improved clarity in lower tunings

• Firmer bass-string tension

• Better definition under high gain

• More comfortable treble-string tension

• Balanced feel across all 8 strings

Neck-Through Construction

The neck-through design with Ultra Access shaping gives the C-8 MS excellent upper-fret access and a solid, responsive feel.

The neck is constructed from 7-ply maple, walnut and padauk, with carbon-fibre reinforcement for added stability.

Ultra Thin C Neck

Schecter’s Ultra Thin C profile keeps the guitar surprisingly fast and manageable for an 8-string.

Combined with the flat 20" ebony fingerboard radius, it is particularly well suited to:

• Fast lead playing

• Legato

• Tapping

• Sweeping

• Technical rhythm work

• Extended-range chord voicings

24 X-Jumbo Stainless-Steel Frets

The C-8 MS features 24 X-Jumbo stainless-steel frets, providing a smooth playing feel and excellent resistance to fret wear.

The full two-octave range also gives plenty of room for modern lead work.

Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups

The guitar is fitted with:

Neck – Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico
Warm and fluid for lead tones, cleans and complex chords.

Bridge – Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic
Tight, aggressive and highly articulate for modern metal, low tunings and high-gain rhythm playing.

The active Fluence system provides multiple voicings through the guitar’s push/pull controls.

Hipshot Hardtail Bridge

The Hipshot .125 hardtail bridge provides individual saddle adjustment and string-through-body construction.

It is ideal for:

• Lower tunings

• Heavy rhythm playing

• Palm muting

• Recording

• Different string gauges

• Players who prefer maximum tuning stability

Locking Tuners

Factory Schecter locking tuners help provide secure string anchoring and make string changes quicker and easier.

Evil Twin Styling

The Satin Black finish, ebony fingerboard, black hardware and Roman numeral inlays give the Evil Twin a dark, understated look.

Glow-in-the-dark side markers also improve visibility on darker stages.

Fair Deal Music Verdict

The Schecter C-8 MS SLS Elite Evil Twin is a seriously capable extended-range guitar built around the demands of modern 8-string playing.

The 25.5"–27" multiscale layout keeps the lowest strings tight and controlled while avoiding unnecessarily high tension on the treble side.

Its neck-through construction, Ultra Thin C profile, flat ebony fingerboard and stainless-steel frets create a fast and precise playing platform, while the Fishman Fluence Modern pickups provide the clarity and attack needed for complex low-tuned rhythm work.

At 8.84 lbs, this example is also a manageable weight for an 8-string neck-through instrument.

Presented in Very Good Condition and supplied without a case or gigbag, this is an excellent option for progressive, technical and modern heavy players.
