This is a Burny RLC-70 featuring the "Inazuma" style truss rod cover—one of the standout Les Paul Custom-style models from Burny's highly regarded Japanese manufacturing era.
It was produced between approximately 1990 and 1992, so I believe the model number to be RLC-70. The pickups have been replaced with rare vintage Seymour Duncan units: an SH-1 '59 (NJ) at the neck and an SH-4 JB (JBJ) at the bridge. A classic Japanese-made Les Paul Custom that combines traditional aesthetics, proven components, and decades of reliable performance.
Cosmetic condition:
The binding on the left side of the neck is cracked, the damage is purely cosmetic. Otherwise, there is some rust, dull spots, scuffs, and small dents. Slight clouding on the headstock. The tuning machines function perfectly. The truss rod still has adjustment range. The frets retain about 60% of their material and show hardly any signs of wear (pitting).
Includes a new Aria hard case.
