How's it going! You're looking at a Vintage 1958 Harmony H1214 Archtone Archtop Blonde Faux Flame Acoustic Guitar!

Made in Chicago in 1958, this Harmony H1214 Archtone acoustic archtop guitar is a fantastic piece of mid-century American guitar history. It features the highly desirable and distinct blonde/ivory finish with a "faux-flame" grained effect, setting it beautifully apart from its darker mahogany or sunburst counterparts. In the hand, the neck features that classic, chunky vintage profile typical of late-50s Chicago builds. It fills out the palm beautifully, making it an incredibly satisfying and stable grip for players who love a substantial feel or prefer a "thumb-over" chording style. The guitar plays with an authentic vintage response, offering an immediate connection to the golden era of catalog instruments. Acoustically, it delivers a dry, woody, and punchy mid-range tone with that quick acoustic decay that defines old-school archtops. It barks when pushed, making it absolutely perfect for raw Delta blues, early jazz, folk, and Americana rhythm chopping.

Cosmetically, this guitar is in great used condition for one made almost 70 years ago. There are some minor scratches and marks around the body from previous use and there a crack between the back and sides on the top right shoulder which has been professionally repaired. Please refer to the photos provided for the most accurate representation of its physical condition. The neck is straight, the intonation is spot on and the action is excellent. There is some minor fret wear apparent on the top few frets from previous use but this will not affect the playability of the guitar. This archtop has been professionally set up with new strings and weighs in at 3 pounds, 11 ounces. This guitar comes with a gig bag and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner for years to come! Don't miss out on the chance to own this exceptionally playable, character-rich slice of American music history.
