Vintage Zilco splash cymbal. Made in America by Zildjian sometime between 1930’s - 1960’s. This would be regarded as a 12” cymbal but it measures closer to 11 7/8”s. I believe it was factory drilled for 2 rivets, neither of which are present. It weighs 374 grams. It has a few small rough spots on the edge and a few tiny flea bites.
The cymbal does have some rippling along the edge which is quite attractive, I assume these are hammering marks. There are also some shallow dents on the cymbal just where the flat section meets the bell. I am unsure if this is from hammering but wanted to mention it. The cymbal has loads of patina as well as the word “Me” written in marker on the bottom. It is a good sounding splash, full and darker than modern A‘s.
