Up for sale is a rare LEM EC-10 Analog Tape Echo, made in Italy by Generalmusic around 1976.
This unit delivers that unmistakable, warm vintage lo-fi delay with incredible tape saturation and cosmic self-oscillation—perfect for capturing those classic 70s space-age and "Captain Future" style sounds!
Condition & Functionality:
- Fully Working: The unit has been thoroughly tested and is fully functional.
- Microphone Tested: I have personally tested and verified the unit’s performance using a RFT DM622 dynamic microphone to ensure the tape heads, repeat functions, and feedback loops are working exactly as they should.
- Video Demo Included: You can see and hear this exact unit in action in the attached video. Buy with confidence knowing how great it sounds!
Technical Details:
- Voltage: European 220V/230V version (comes with the standard attached EU power cable).
- Connections: The unit utilizes classic 3-pin DIN connectors for input and output.
Please Note:
- The microphone used in the video/testing is NOT included in this sale. This listing is for the LEM EC-10 unit only and its original carry soft case bag .
- As with all vintage mechanical tape echoes from this era, regular maintenance (cleaning the heads, replacing the tape loops eventually) is part of the analog experience.
