I bought this unit new and the original owner. It works and includes the power cord and original box.
The Blackbird has eight Onyx
mic preamps in a 1U rackmount
unit. Inputs 1 and 2 are on
the front and also accept
guitar or bass directly.
Recording features:
• 8 analog mic/line inputs
• 8-channel ADAT digital input
• 24-bit recording, up to 96 kHz
• FireWire 400 connection
• ADAT digital outputs
• Word clock input and output
• 48V phantom power
• Two headphone outputs
• Direct monitoring
• Inserts for channels 1 and 2
The 16×16 specification combines
analog and digital channels;
there are eight mic preamps.
It can also serve as a standalone
eight-channel preamp with ADAT
output for a compatible setup.
