MOTU MIDI Timepiece AV 1996 - Black

This listing is for a MOTU MIDI Timepiece AV (MTP AV), a professional 8-in/8-out MIDI interface, router, merger, and synchronization system. This unit, serial number MTP-AV126230, was manufactured in 1996. I am the original owner, and it has been used in my private professional recording studio.

The MTP AV is in excellent working condition. Cosmetically, it is also in excellent overall condition, with only a couple of minor scratches on the top from being moved in and out of racks over the years.

It was designed as a central MIDI hub for sophisticated hardware-based studios, providing extensive MIDI routing and merging along with synchronization capabilities. The MTP AV remains a particularly useful piece of equipment for vintage MIDI setups involving multiple synthesizers, drum machines, sound modules, and other hardware.

The original power cable and several MIDI cables are included. The original manual is not available.
