Built in cooperation with Peter himself, this limited-edition Epiphone was inspired by that one-of-a-kind instrument. The body is weight-relieved for unbelievable comfort and resonance while the Ebony-capped Mahogany neck features Peter's custom "Phenix" neck profile and a traditional long neck tenon for incredible sustain. Experience a wide range of tones, thanks to a trio of humbucking pickups and special wiring. This Limited Edition Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom PRO boasts an eye-catching gloss black finish, so it looks as great as it sounds.

Peter Frampton's original vintage 1954 Les Paul Custom has an interesting backstory. One night, his previous guitar malfunctioned onstage. For his next show, a friend loaned him a black 3-pickup Les Paul, and he fell in love with it. He offered to buy it, but the friend instead gave it to him as a gift. This Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom PRO was inspired by that iconic instrument. It features Peter's custom "Phenix" profile neck profile, which feels beefy yet comfortable while enhancing the guitar's warmth and sustain. Its hand-fit solid mahogany neck was glued into the guitar's body with a historically accurate deep-set long neck tenon that produces even more tone and sustain. Beyond that, this limited-edition Les Paul Custom PRO includes a weight-relieved mahogany body for increased comfort and resonance.

Epiphone's Limited Edition Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom PRO is packing Epiphone ProBucker pickups in the neck and middle positions. These amazing-sounding humbuckers conjure the sound of the original hand-wound PAF humbuckers designed by Seth Lover in the late 1950s. They have all the same components under the hood, including Alnico II magnets, Elektrisola magnet wire, and 18 percent nickel silver unit bases and covers, as well as pole screws, slugs, and bobbins built to the original specs. This Les Paul Custom PRO also features a CeramicPro humbucker in the bridge. This meaty sounding pickup yields a high-output modern sound with tight lows, smooth mids, and pronounced highs. 

The condition is immaculate with hardly any signs of use whatsoever. A true case queen. Like all our used vintage gear it has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
